Terms & Conditions – Ikaze Guest Lodge

Welcome to Ikaze Guest Lodge. By making a reservation with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Room Reservations

Individual Bookings

Guests can make reservations via:

  • Online Reservation – Book directly through our website or third-party booking platforms. Direct bookings may offer lower rates.
  • Telephone – Contact our Reservation Office at 011 0280274 or 0630547792 for faster service.

Group Bookings

  • Eligibility: Group discounts are offered for blocks of 6 or more rooms. Groups of five or fewer rooms may contact the Reservation Desk for assistance.
  • Required Information: To secure a group booking, please provide:
    • Name of the booker
    • Arrival and departure dates
    • Type of group (tour bus, sports team, corporate event, wedding, etc.)
    • Contact name, address, and phone number
  • Securing the Booking: A 50% deposit of the total booking is required. A list of guest names will be requested for room allocation.
  • Cut-off Date: The reservations officer will provide a cut-off date. Any rooms not booked by this date will be released back into inventory.

2. Meeting & Conference Space

  • Meeting rooms can be rented by groups staying at the lodge or by external clients.
  • Room requirements and fees vary based on group size and services required.
  • For inquiries, please contact the Front Office.

3. Payment Policy

  • Deposit: 50% of the total booking is required to secure your reservation.
  • Balance Payment: Full payment must be made before or at check-in.
  • Payment Methods:
    • Bank Card: Guests can pay the balance at check-in.
    • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT): Guests must present proof of payment before check-in.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Day of Arrival: Full payment is required for reservations cancelled on the day of arrival.
  • Other Cancellations: A 50% cancellation fee per room will apply for cancellations made prior to the day of arrival.
  • We recommend guests confirm cancellation deadlines to avoid unnecessary charges.

5. Minimum Age & Guest Standards

  • Ikaze Guest Lodge is a Christian-based business promoting Christian values.
  • Couples booking rooms are requested to be married, in order to maintain our lodge standards.

6. General Terms

  • Guests are responsible for the care of lodge property during their stay.
  • Ikaze Guest Lodge reserves the right to refuse service or bookings that do not align with lodge policies or Christian values.
  • Prices, rates, and availability are subject to change without notice.
